Outcome tracking therefore includes both completion of training modules and subsequent placement within 90 days inside the same economic regions.
Implementation relies on partnerships between community colleges in Bathurst and Dieppe with sector councils that set exam standards. Delivery mixes in-person shop time with remote theory modules to accommodate shift workers in processing plants. Funding covers equipment upgrades at existing facilities rather than new construction, matching the dispersed settlement pattern across small towns rather than urban centers. Unlike programs in neighboring Quebec that operate within a unilingual French framework, New Brunswick applications must demonstrate explicit bilingual placement pathways that satisfy both provincial and federal language-of-work rules at the border with Maine.
