The funding covers up to $100,000 annually for salary offset, laboratory supplies, and data management systems that accommodate both official languages in consent forms and outcome measures.
Researchers must demonstrate prior publication records in peer-reviewed journals and secure a letter from a New Brunswick university confirming laboratory space and ethics board access. Applications require submission of a detailed budget that allocates at least 25 percent of direct costs to bilingual research assistants and translation services for participant materials.
